Terms and Conditions

The Pink Bloom Party (the ‘Event’) is an initiative of ANZ Breast Cancer Trials Group Ltd trading as Breast Cancer Trials (‘BCT’) to raise funding in support of its national breast cancer clinical trials research program.

The Event can be held during the Event timeframe of 1st October 2026 to 31st October 2026, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. However, hosts can begin fundraising and promoting their Event as soon as they have registered. Fundraising pages will close on 30 November 2026.

By registering for the Event, the participant or the parent/guardian of a participant under 18 years, acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.


General:

  • The decision to register in the Event is entirely your own, and you accept full responsibility for any consequence of your participation in the Event for yourself and/or your guests.
  • Any content you post to your fundraising page on the Event website (e.g. photos and text) is your responsibility, and you must have the necessary rights to post that content (including the consent of any individuals featured). BCT reserves the right to remove any content it deems inappropriate or in breach of these terms.
  • You acknowledge that BCT reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.

 

Fundraising:

  • You acknowledge that by registering for the Event, you pledge to raise funds for BCT to support research for the treatment, prevention and cure of breast cancer.
  • All fundraising conducted for this Event comes under BCT’s authority to fundraise in the respective State or Territory in Australia where you reside, and you agree to be bound by the relevant state and national fundraising legislation and abide by BCT’s Fundraising Activity Guidelines.
  • BCT is a registered tax-exempt charity with DGR (Deductible Gift Recipient) status issued by the Australian Taxation Office. All eligible donations over $2 are tax deductible in Australia. Tax deductible receipts will be issued via the Event website.
  • BCT can refund a donation made in error. If you wish to request a refund, please contact BCT via pinkbloomparty@bctrials.org.au.

 

Privacy:

  • BCT respects and is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal information it collects.
  • BCT will collect your personal information and any other information you may volunteer (such as your experience or involvement with breast cancer) so that we can administer and conduct the Event and keep you informed about BCT, its fundraising activities and the important research you are supporting.
  • More information about the management of personal information, including storage and use, access and correction, and removal is included in our Privacy Policy.

 

Prizes and Rewards:

  • You must be registered to host a 2026 Pink Bloom Party to be eligible for any prizes or rewards.
  • Prizes and rewards will either be distributed by BCT or the corporate sponsor who provided the prize.
  • Prizes and rewards cannot be redeemed or exchanged for any other products.
  • Winners will be notified and have 72 hours from the time and date of the notification to respond and claim their prize. If the prize is not claimed within this time frame, the prize will be redrawn and any previous winners will forgo claims to the prize.

  • Hosts must collect 7 Pink Bloom Party achievement badges before 30 November 2026 to be eligible for this prize.
  • The winner will be drawn at random on Monday 7 December 2026.
  • The prize will be dispatched to the winner before 14 December 2026.


Interflora Australia Styling Session

  1. Hosts must register their Pink Bloom Party before 11:59pm AEST on Friday 28 August 2026 to be eligible for this prize.
  2. The prize is not a game of chance. One (1) winner will be selected by Breast Cancer Trials in consultation with Interflora Australia based on the eligibility criteria outlined below.
  3. To be eligible, entrants must:
    • Be registered to host a 2026 Pink Bloom Party.
    • Be actively fundraising for Breast Cancer Trials.
    • Be planning to host a Pink Bloom Party attended by a minimum of ten (10) guests.
    • Be located in Australia within 100 kilometres of a participating Interflora Australia member florist.
    • Be available to host their event on a weekday (Monday - Friday) during October 2026.
  4. The winner will receive floral styling and floral arrangements for their Pink Bloom Party, as determined by Interflora Australia, valued at up to AUD $500. The exact inclusions, value, design and delivery of the prize are at the sole discretion of Interflora Australia.
  5. The prize is subject to availability and serviceability. If the winner's event location cannot reasonably be serviced by a participating Interflora Australia member florist, an alternative winner may be selected.
  6. The winner agrees to allow Breast Cancer Trials and/or Interflora Australia to capture photographs and/or video footage of the event, including event styling, floral arrangements and event setup for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes.
  7. Where event guests, hosts or other individuals are identifiable in photography or video footage, the winner may be required to obtain consent from those individuals and/or sign a talent release or media consent form as requested by Breast Cancer Trials or Interflora Australia.
  8. The winner agrees to participate in reasonable promotional activity relating to the prize, including photographs, testimonials and social media content.
  9. The winner will be notified directly by Breast Cancer Trials and/or Interflora Australia by 1 August 2026. If the winner declines the prize or is unable to meet the eligibility requirements, Breast Cancer Trials reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
  10. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or exchanged for any other goods or services.
  11. Breast Cancer Trials reserves the right to amend or withdraw the prize should circumstances outside its reasonable control arise.

  • Hosts must make a self-donation to their Pink Bloom Party 2026 fundraising page before 30 November 2026 to be eligible for this prize.
  • The winner will be drawn at random on Monday 7 December 2026.
  • The prize will be dispatched to the winner before 14 December 2026.
