This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I'm hosting a Pink Bloom Party to support others facing breast cancer
Please support my Pink Bloom Party by making a donation to my Fundraising Garden.
Every donation will bloom into a flower in my garden and help fund life-saving breast cancer clinical trials research. Your support will help researchers develop new and improved treatments, giving people affected by breast cancer more options, more hope, and more time with the people they love.Together, we can grow hope for a future where no more lives are cut short by breast cancer.
🌸 Thank you for helping my garden bloom.

My Updates
Our Story
Tuesday 4th AugMost of you know that in June 2024 I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer.
I found it myself after noticing a lump that appeared very quickly. It was silent, unexpected, and I hadn’t felt unwell at all.
What followed was a whirlwind of appointments, 15 months of intensive treatment, surgery and recovery. I feel incredibly fortunate that my cancer was detected early, and I’m optimistic that I’ll remain cancer-free.
What some of you may not know is that my sister, Margaret (or Marg… like the margaritas 🍹), was diagnosed earlier this year with DCIS (ductal carcinoma in situ) after a routine mammogram. Her journey involved multiple surgeries followed by radiation treatment. Like anyone who has experienced cancer knows, the physical and emotional toll is exhausting. Thankfully, we’re feeling very optimistic that her treatment has also been successful.
We’ll both continue to be closely monitored over the next five years, and we’re grateful for every milestone along the way.
One thing our experiences have reinforced is just how important breast cancer research is.
That’s why we’re proud to once again host our Pink Bloom Party on Saturday, 24 October in support of Breast Cancer Trials, right here in Newcastle.
This year we’re hoping to make it bigger and better than last year’s event, raising even more funds to support the research that gives women—and their families—hope for better treatments and better outcomes.
If you’d like to support the cause, we’ve included the donation link below if you’d like to contribute early. Otherwise, stay tuned! We’ll be sharing more details about the event, along with regular posts throughout October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Thank you for your support—it truly means the world to us. 💗
