My Cancer Year 🎗️
Sunday 30th AugThis year changed my life.
I went from being a busy mum, runner, working 4 days a week to being diagnosed with Stage II triple-negative breast cancer...
What followed was a year of chemotherapy, surgeries and complications that I never imagined I would face. There were some incredibly tough days, but there were also moments of strength, hope and incredible support from the people around me.
After months without running, I eventually put my running shoes back on. My first run was slow, with plenty of walking—but I was running again. And that felt huge. ❤️
Now I want to turn my experience into something positive.
I’m fundraising for breast cancer clinical trials and research, because the treatments I received are only possible because of research done before me. And the next breakthroughs will come from the research happening today.
Every donation, no matter how small, can help give someone else more treatment options, more hope and more time.
