This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I'm hosting a Pink Bloom Party to support breast cancer research

Please support my Pink Bloom Party by making a donation to my Fundraising Garden.

Every donation will bloom into a flower in my garden and help fund life-saving breast cancer clinical trials research. Your support will help researchers develop new and improved treatments, giving people affected by breast cancer more options, more hope, and more time with the people they love.

Together, we can grow hope for a future where no more lives are cut short by breast cancer.

🌸 Thank you for helping my garden bloom.

WHY I’M HOSTING A PINK BLOOM EVENT 🌸

Wednesday 14th Oct

This year, cancer entered my life from two very different directions.

At the same time my mum was diagnosed with lung cancer, I was going through my own breast cancer scare.

While my family was trying to process Mum’s diagnosis and how serious it was, I had a lump that needed further investigation. The thought of our family potentially facing two cancer diagnoses at once felt like too much and so I carried my lump journey silently initially.

So while Mum was learning about her cancer and beginning treatment, I was quietly attending appointments and dealing with my own fear and uncertainty behind the scenes.

Sadly, we lost Mum only a couple of months after her diagnosis.

I was one of the fortunate ones. My lump needed to be surgically removed but was ultimately confirmed as benign.💗

But waiting for that answer taught me something. Until you hear those words, you simply don’t know which side of the story you’re going to end up on.

My experience was only a glimpse of a breast cancer journey that so many women, friends and families have had to live much further into.

That’s why I’ve decided to host a Pink Bloom event. 🌸

I’m still working out exact details of my fundraising event, but I know why I’m doing it.  I’m doing it for Mum, for the people I love who have faced cancer, and for everyone currently waiting, fighting, recovering or supporting someone they love.

More details soon on my fundraising event but my donation page is open ready for donations💗

Please donate towards breast cancer research, even if it’s $5, I’d really appreciate it!Â
