This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it's personal!
After being diagnosed with breast cancer in early June, I’ve seen firsthand just how much research, treatment and support can mean to someone going through it. I’m incredibly lucky that my cancer is treatable and curable, but I also know that so many people facing breast cancer don’t have the same path ahead of them.
I’m hosting a Pink Bloom Party (read: an excuse to host loved ones, surrounded by flowers and cupcakes en masse) to raise money for breast cancer clinical trials research. Every donation will blossom into a wider fundraising garden, helping researchers develop better treatments and giving people facing breast cancer more options, more hope, and more time.
