This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are hosting a Pink Bloom Afternoon tea
Canberra Homemakers swap is coming together for a very special afternoon tea on Sunday 25th of October 2026. ✨
Just like with our swaps, we are coming together in the spirit of community and generosity, sharing our love for the homemade, while also supporting such a beautiful cause, close to many of our hearts.
Think- a long table with beautiful decorations, chairs lined up along both sides, an abundance of wonderful foods, women laughing and sharing stories, love, intention, connection. 🫶 It's what we are all about at the Canberra Homemakers Swap.
There will be limited seats available for this slow and beautiful afternoon together. Get in quick to save your seat at our table, while helping to fund life-saving breast cancer clinical trials research. Your support will help researchers develop new and improved treatments, giving people affected by breast cancer more options, more hope, and more time with the people they love. Together, we can grow hope for a future where no more lives are cut short by breast cancer. ❤️
You have until the 19th of October to save your seat with us at the table. So please let the women in your life know about this lovely event & get in quick so we can plan for a beautiful afternoon together. You don't have to have come to a swap before this, or know anyone coming! Let's meet some beautiful women (yes, you!), across multiple generations, as we connect and have a lovely afternoon tea together.
How it's going to work:
🪷 To save your seat at the table, donate $20 to our fundraising garden, planting your flower of hope. You are welcome to donate more if you are able to, every single dollar will make a difference.
🪷 Children who will be needing a seat at the table and eating food will only be $15 each. If children will be in prams, they are welcome to join with no extra donations needed.
🪷 Send us a message on Instagram or Facebook to let us know you have planted a flower, and would like us to save you a seat.
🪷 We will send you some more information on how the afternoon will look together.
🪷 Like with the Homemakers swap, everyone will bring a plate of homemade afternoon tea to share with the group. This could be cakes, savoury foods, slices, or anything your heart desires!
🪷 Recommended attire: Pink, pastel or florals.
🪷 We will meet for a wonderful afternoon tea together, while we connect and share our love for the world in which we live. While also contributing to something so much bigger than ourselves, something so incredibly important.
🪷 If you can't make the afternoon tea, but would still like to donate, that would be really appreciated. All donations are welcome, big and small. We appreciate every single one of you in our beautiful community 🫶
